Moving is a mobile narrative driven puzzle game that tells the story of a young immigrant who travels to a foreign land, struggling to communicate and adapt to her new environment. The narrative is conveyed without any dialog, but rather through puzzle based mechanics, which becomes more complicated and difficult as the main character struggles to communicate.
On this project, created during a semester long production class at USC, I served as co-creative director with my teammate, and I focused on writing the narrative and designing the mechanics to go with it, ensuring that they compliment one another. I also contributed to the engineering and level design process in Unity. In addition, as creative director, I communicated with outside art and sound designers that we recruited, and made sure that their work was in lie with our creative vision.
